I’m so excited!!!

I’m going to Vegas the first full week in December with GTL, all of my girlfriends, a few cousins, my mom, grandmom, and 2 aunts. My one aunt is a travel agent and gives this trip to Vegas every year. This is my third time going.

My first time there, I went with my mom, grandmom, and 2 aunts. They had the videogame awards there the day after we left. No biggie. Two years later (last year) I went with GTL, my grandmom, and my one aunt. GTL and I found out that the Billboard Music Awards were in town, they morning after they occurred! We were so heated!!!

Well, this year, I was on my game and found out that the Billboard Music Awards are being held the night we land, in our hotel. Guess who’s going???? Yup! Me, GTL, and my one homegirl/his sister. GTL doesn’t get excited until the time actually comes near… but me? I’m ecstatic now!! And I just got the email that my tickets have been printed… I’m psyched!

Don’t worry… I’ll take lots of pictures when that time comes! My only fear about the show is that, I know it’s going to be long… I’m just hoping it doesn’t bore the shit out of me with it being so long! LOL. I doubt it. I’ll probably be too excited and be too worried about trying to get heard/seen on camera! MJB performs… so when she stops singing or gets an award... be listening for me to say “I LOVE YOU MARY!!!!!” LMAO.

Not sure what else we’re going to do while there… but it should be a lot of fun! Hanging out with family and friends in Sin City…. Trouble… Trouble! LOL.

Well alright now!

I heard that the live shows are long. I sorta believe it cuz what's on the tube is 2-3 hours and that's with editing! LOL

I would say have a great time but it's still a little ways away and I know yall will anyways!

Just remember . . . they passed a law out there last year. The chapels are no longer allowed to be open 24 hours anymore . . . just in case you and GTL got any bright ideas.

I live 4 hours from that joint and STILL haven't been there.

Have fun anyway, post pics, go see some male strippers, check out the tigers with Siefried and Roy...do all that stuff for me k?

Congrats for you! That's a winner. My daughter won a trip there two years ago and we met Bow Wow at a meet and greet than attended his concert as his guest. I enjoyed that visit.

That's whassup--if someone is not there for their award crash the stage like old boy from Philly & accept it for them and then thank God and all your blog friends and run off a list "I'd like to thank GTL, Bkln, Kionne, Missy--I know I'm forgetting someone" *music starts to play--bad ass chick in strapless evening gown & black pumps grabs your arm--big buff dude with a white cord coming out his ear stage left waiting on your ass. We're all rooting for you.

As a 'vet' who's attended a good number of award shows, I suggest you find a comfortable place to hide your camera. Most of the shows that I attended were well before the days of subcompact digital cameras we have now. But I did sneak my 35mm camera into the '97 Soul Train Awards and ended up getting some decent shots. However most of them were dark and/or blurry.

As far as the 'porn' convention goes, I did 'happen' to be in Vegas twice when that event took place in Jan of 2001 and 2002. Let's just say that the pics/vids I have from that event are a lot more 'interesting' than any awards show I've ever attended. :)
